About Us

Al-Mustafa Junior Kindergarten is a licensed group child care facility in Surrey, BC, offering early childhood education for children aged 30 months to 5 years.

Al-Mustafa Junior Kindergarten provides a nurturing and structured environment tailored to preschool-aged children. The center is part of a not-for-profit initiative serving the Muslim community and emphasizes both academic readiness and moral development.

Class Schedule | Curricular Activities

Al-Mustafa offers a BC Ministry of Education-certified Group 1 Independent School program for students in Kindergarten through Grade 9. The curriculum combines academic excellence with Islamic values, providing a well-rounded education that includes core subjects such as language arts, mathematics, science, and social studies, alongside Qur’an studies and character development. With small class sizes and a nurturing environment, the school supports early learners in building strong academic foundations while fostering spiritual growth and moral responsibility.

Al-Mustafa School’s teaching staff includes certified BC educators, Islamic studies specialists, and early childhood professionals dedicated to academic and spiritual development. Teachers support students from Kindergarten to Grade 9 through a blend of classroom instruction, Qur’an and Arabic education, and mentorship in both traditional and hybrid learning models. The team fosters a nurturing, values-driven environment that encourages excellence, character, and faith.

Parents and parent volunteers play a vital role in the Al-Mustafa School community, actively contributing to the school’s nurturing and faith-centered environment. Their involvement extends beyond supporting their children’s education—they help organize events, assist in classrooms, and strengthen the connection between families and staff. Through volunteering and collaboration, parents help foster a vibrant, inclusive atmosphere that reflects the school’s values of service, unity, and shared responsibility.
